What do I use my Kikki K for?

Hey y'all. As you know, if you read my last blog post, I used to be super into Erin Condren. Now, I have found a new love. Ring bound planners. Specifically the Large Kikki K planner. I'm became instantly obsessed. This post is going to be all about my Kikki K and how I use it. Enjoy!

First I wanted to talk about supplies. My inserts for my entire planner are from Sew Much Crafting on Etsy. Danielle Woods and her team are amazing. If you're currently looking for some inserts for ring bound planners, check her out. She's amazing. I have a few favorite Sticker shop that I'm absolutely obsessed with. They are all on Etsy. My NUMBER ONE is Scribble Prints Co. Andrea Marie and her team do such awesome work. Her stickers are always good quality, and the cutest. She comes up with the best ideas. Her colors are also amazing. My favorite sticker shop for my icons would have to be Sweet Kawaii Designs. Tesia does such a wonderful job at making stickers of all sizes. I get most of my icon stickers from her shop. PlannerKate1 is another one of the shops I love getting stickers from. She has so many functional stickers. If you're looking for a bit more functional items, her shop is where to go. There are a few other shops I use every so often. Next time I order I think I'm going to do a haul. Maybe I'll do a whole post about just Etsy planner supplies shops. Let me know what y'all think in the comments below.

Now to get into my actual planner. I have six sections in my planner. I will go into how I did my dividers in a different post. The first thing I use my planner for my weekly habits. I get a insert specifically for this. I have my personal habits, and my daughter habits. We're still trying to get a hang on a routine. This insert helps me a lot. The next section I don't actually use to much. It's my year at a glance, and month at a glance. I put the current month in front of my month on two pages so I usually don't use my year/monthly section. I use my third section for my daily task lists and goals for the day. I use the horizontal week on two pages for this. My next section I use as a checkbook register. I like to know exactly what's going on with the money in the house so I track it with the insert made to do so. My fifth section so for my Blogging ideas and information about my Blog and Instagram. The last section is just for random notes.

I will go into depth about my sections on a different post. I hope y'all enjoyed this post. Let me know what you use your planner for. I love new ideas. Thanks y'all!

Planner Love!

Hello everybody! In this post I just wanted to tell y'all a little about myself and talk about planning. First off, my name is Megan. I am a wife, and mother of one. My husbands name is Justin, and our daughters name is Annaleise. I am a full time retail worker, and a full time house keeper, hehehe. Therefor there is always something to be done.

I always have a ton on my plate, which is what brought me to planning. I have tried so many planning apps on my phone, but I just ended up never using them. I starting learning about planners when I was on YouTube. My first planner obsession was the Erin Condren Life Planners. I was so in love. I used it everyday.

I have always used Vertical planners. Come to find out they don't actually work for me. There's just so much space that I feel like I HAVE to fill. When I fill up the whole column I usually overwhelm myself with things to do. Then, I started looking into Horizontal planning. Still stuck on Erin Condren at the time. I was so convinced that having ANOTHER spiral bound planner would solve all of my problems.

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE planner sticker shop, ScribblePrintsCo, also has a YouTube Channel (She is AMAZING, check her out!) which I had started following. She had shown her Personal sized ring bound planner in one of her videos. I was thinking that could be an option. So I search on YouTube for answers on if that would be a better option for me. Come to find out it is. I can have more than one section. I can have different kinds of inserts for different days. It just makes my life so much easier. It also keeps my spread neater and easier to work with.

This blog is going to be filled with "mommy things' and planner things. I plan on having a new post every week. I've never had a blog before, so I wanted to start myself off slow. Let me know what you guys think! Comment and let me know if there's anything y'all want me to talk about. I'm really excited to share my adventures with y'all!
XOXO
